The Badlands - 06/27/2004
After a slow year of off-roading which yielded only one trip to the Badlands,
I had the most of my major projects completed. Most significant changes
have been the addition of a Dana 30/Dana 44 with 4.56 and Lockers. This
combined with my 32" x 10.5" set of Super Swampers has given me more
capabilites to keep up with my good buddy, Derek Paschal. Both of us
were a little slow getting out this year as my mechanic (father, Bill) just got
finished installing some new suspension components (Long Arms, ACOS).
This was Sweet Pea's maiden voyage after the modifications. Derek's Jeep
is similar to Sweet Pea, but sports a not-quite completed exo-skeleton cage.
This trip was the second in the month of June and was good to give me a
chance to wring out any last minute bugs prior to driving to Virginia for the
2004 Camp Jeep.
