Day 1 - Friday - 10:00 AM - Trail Ride

This was my first excursion offroad in my Cherokee that I purchased 
new no more than 9 months earlier.  Back then I hadn't a great idea
when it was better to use 4-Low or 4-High.  It wasn't long before I
realized that 4-Low was appropriate for the majority of trail riding
I was going to be seeing for that weekend.  Although some of the trails
were flat enough to traverse in 4-High we eventually did enough hill
climbing that 4-High would put undo stress on the transmission and 
run the risk of burning the ATF fluid.  Additionally 4-Low affords 
better vehicle control when descending, which we would do plenty of 
in the Rockies!
